Terms and Conditions
Hire of Limousine by Squires Limousines
1. Hourly rate hire commences from the time the Limousine leaves the garage and ends when it returns to the garage, except when booked to a fixed quotation.
2. Bookings are confirmed on receipt of a deposit or full balance to be received within terms. All known charges are payable in full before the hire period commences. Any further costs such as extra non specified drop offs, extra mileage, time, parking or toll charges and telephone usage must be settled at the end of the hire period in cash.
3. Chauffeur subsistence is charged additionally , as is hotel accommodation for chauffeur overnight stay where required.
4. The company accepts no responsibility, nor can be held liable in any way whatsoever for any delays howsoever caused.
5. The Vehicles belonging to the company are only insured for its drivers, NO other person may drive the limousine under any circumstances.
6. The limousine driver will use his/her judgement to drive at a reasonable speed in relation to the prevailing road type conditions.
7. The company reserves the right to substitute vehicles of equal capacity in the event of mechanical or other failure, if due to circumstances beyond its control, this is deemed necessary.
8. The company will undertake to transport a reasonable quantity of accompanying luggage, if however the in judgement of the driver the volume and weight is excessive, the company reserve the right to refuse the carriage of said luggage. In addition, the company cannot assume responsibility or liability for any loss or damage to clients property or luggage, however caused.
9. If a confirmed booking is cancelled by the client less than 14 days before the hire date either £90.00 or 50% whichever is greater, of the agreed total cost is payable to the company.
10. Clients will be held responsible for any and all damages to the limousine(s) owned by the company, or any other vehicles used by the company, however caused by client(s) or their guest(s) to the value of £100 or the cost of clean up/repair, which ever is the greater. This includes , but is not restricted to sickness and spillage stains, cigarette burns and fabric tears. Champagne glass breakages are charged at £5 each.
11. The company operate a strict NO SMOKING POLICY in the limousine and the clients are requested to respect the signs in the vehicle pointing out these terms.
12. The company will not be held responsible for the transportation of any illegal substance or articles within the limousine. Any client doing so will have the hire contract terminated immediately and without refund.
13. The Client(s) will be held responsible for the conduct of any and all passengers in the limousine at all times.
14. The company reserves the right to terminate any and all services due to unruly and/or abusive passengers.
15. Under the terms and conditions of the private hire licence we can carry a maximum of 8 passengers.
16. For safety reasons, passengers must wait for the chauffeur to open doors before they alight the vehicle.
17. Chewing Gum is not permitted in the vehicle
